Sigma ultralign

Sigma ultralign is a computer assisted adjusting device that is designed specifically to assess and gently treat joints and tissues. This device is generally used for the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. It can also be used to improve the health of nervous system by analyzing the spine and restoring its normal function. It measures the movement and stiffness of joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues. It acts as both an analysis tool and also delivers gentle spinal adjustment. Ultralign works by measuring the motion of muscle and joint tension. It measures precise level of motion; it can determine whether the vertebra’s motion is too rigid or too fluid. It uses measured oscillating force with uninterrupted motion. It is a very comfortable option as there is no application of manual rotation or thrusting force and the amount of pressure that is used can be controlled digitally. It is ideal for the patients who are not comfortable with the “cracks and pops” of manually adjustments.

What does ultralign do?

SIGMA Ultralign uses an advance technology to generally assess the human spine and other tissues to analyse their function. It uses the same sensing technology that the aviation industry and engineers have used in order to test metal fatigue in aircraft and bridge spans. With this technology, musculoskeletal conditions can be managed by increasing range of motion, eliminating fixation and improving functional capacity of patients.

How is it done?

First the doctor engages in one on one conversation with patient to determine their medical history and the cause of the problem. Next comes the analytical phase, in which each region of the spine is analyzed separately and the results are displaced graphically on a computer monitor, showing where the problem areas are. Through which the doctor determines the frequency of correction. It is able to register and measure information faster than the body is able to react. It utilizes a precise oscillating force with uninterrupted motion allowing for increased mobility of the spine segment in the area of fixation. The spinal region is then rescanned to determine the response of the patient to treatment.

Benefits

  • It provides relief from back pain, neck pain, hip pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, Sciatica.
  • It is comfortable for patients of all ages and even for pregnant women and patients with cardiac pacemaker.
  • There is no popping or twisting of spinal joints.
  • It provides immediate results.
